Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Enjoy the traditional sounds of the Wurlitzer whilst taking afternoon tea in the famous Tower Ballroom, and return in the evening for fabulous entertainment every week. Blackpool Tower offers you the chance to practice your elegant Ballroom skills, raunchy Latin steps, and much more, to music from resident organists and exciting live bands.
Undersea World and Jungle Jim’s
Kids love to get lost in the underwater world of the atmospheric aquarium and will work up an appetite the new Jungle Jims Adventure Land which will be replacing Jungle Jim' in Spring 2008. Described by Leisure Pares as 'the most innovative and interactive play scheme of its kind in the UK'.
Work has already begun on the unique, £3 million project which will be complete by Easter 2008.
Based around a 'Lost City', the 2,500 square metre attraction will set youngsters upon a quest, taking them through a series of exciting adventures in their search to find the hidden treasure.
The glass-roofed area will include the installation of three huge ships each with separate theming, their own characters and the capacity to host dedicated children's parties.
The existing food court will also be completely redeveloped to make way for a dining area seating over 350 which will take people back on a magical journey to years gone by.
A number of the Tower's architectural features, not seen by the public for over twenty five years and including several areas currently used as storage units, will be restored to their former glory, underlining the
architectural significance of the 113-year-old building.
Blackpool Tower Circus
The 2008 Tower Circus promises thrills, spills and skills as the internationally acclaimed acrtistes perform their death defying stunts in the award-winning Circus. Everyone’s favourite clown Mooky is back with more hilarity and crazy antics from Easter until November
And don’t forget a trip to the top of the Tower will show you some of the best vies in Blackpool, for thos with nerves of steel, the Walk of Faith – a strengthened glass floor 380ft high at the top of the Tower, gives you the clearest view of all, straight down.
